Kavya Madhavan, an Indian cinema actress who primarily performed in Malayalam films, was born on September 19, 1984. She debuted as a kid artist in Pookkalam Varavayi in 1991. In 1999, when she was in ninth grade, she made her acting debut in Lal Jose's Chandranudikkunna Dikhil. Its popularity cemented her place as a major actor in the industry during the decade of the 2000s. She has appeared in 73 films. She has received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress twice, for her roles in Perumazhakkalam (2004) and Gaddama  (2010).
